Well the first song i choose is "At the Hop" by Danny and the Juniors which is a (me making an educated guess) a that it is a early form of Rock and Roll. My Reaction to this song was that it sounded a lot like the modern songs i have heard before and it was a really catchy song. If they would have put like a snare in the song (which i'm sure they couldn't so back then) it would have blended in with the modern songs. I did a little research and found out that it was initially named "Do the Bop" but was later changed to "At the Hop". It was the only hit single that Danny and the Junoirs made and it made

The Second song i choose is "Tutti Frutti" by Pat Boone which was re-released from the same song "Tutti Frutti" By Little Richard. The reason this song was re-released was because a HUGE majority of the people that could spend with extra money in their pockets and still will be able to live comfortably in their expensive armchair by a warm fire were the white families. With this, not a lot of the white families wanted to buy an african american album back in the 1950's, so it was gold to the white artists who re-released the songs. Now this songs compared to the the one made by Little Richard was completely unenthusiastic and it sucked all the spirit dry. Even though it had the same beat and the same lyrics it just wasn't the same since Little Richard was crazy and wild, with his crazy hairstyle.

The third song i choose is "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and His Comets because this one is probably one of my favorites. When i first heard the song i couldn't help but start to dance like how they would have in the 1950's. I couldn't help but have a feeling that this is one of those early rock and roll songs under the development, it had a great guitar solo so that it allowed the people who were listening to do some fancy dance tricks and it made pretty much the whole song, that guitar did.

When I heard the song I sounded like if it was an old song It didn’t sound like if it was modern. Yea I agree the song is catchy.
Yea I think the song by Pat Boone was kind of boring because the one by little Richard had more energy and that white people didn’t want to buy some thing that was made by a black man. But if pat didn’t sing that song it wouldn’t be as famous with in the white crowd.
Yea this song is cool the sing wants to makes you dance. Also the rock solo made the song is even better. And the song was very energetic.
